Snake Bite First Aids
Snakes are territorial reptiles; they will not bite unless perturbed. They are not foolish to try and eat a man after biting him. They will only bite if they are hungry and only the things which they can swallow. They bite humans only when humans cross their paths in self-defense. They do not mean that you mean no harm to them. All they can see is a thermal image of your arms and legs along with vibrations. This is the reason hundreds of snake bites are reported from houses situates at the ends of forests or wen trekkers go on a hike into deep forests. There has been no known case of a snake biting a human while the human was asleep.
Snakes bites are extremely mortal. They can kill a well grown adult in matter of minutes. Medical care is important for individuals who get bitten snakes. Every snake venom has a different kind of anti-venom. The most normally found snake in North America is the Rattle Snake which requires the antivenin to null the effect of the venom. This antivenin can be only administered by emergency services. The first important thing to do is call emergency services for help or get the patient or yourself to the hospital. The bitten area needs to be kept lower to the body so that the venom does not spread to other parts of the body. The bitten area should be washed with warm or Luke warm water mixed with salt. The bitten area starts swelling soon, hence remove all jewelry and clothing around that area. If the snake which has bitten you is an erotic species whose bits are lesser known, then tightly wrap the bitten location with an elastic bandage tightly beginning from the heart. Sucking on the bitten area will not pull out the venom, it is too fast to spread.
