What if…It’s Time to Buy a New Car
Ok so you were driving home yesterday, and your rear-view mirror suddenly falls off. That was the last straw, you lost your air-conditioning last summer, braved through football season with no radio, and now you can’t even see our your back window without physically looking behind you. No, its time to face the chipping paint and buy a new car.
So the first thing you do is get on the internet and look up some car prices, it’s a lot more than you were willing to spend. After all you just need something with four wheel, you are willing to go tri-pod if necessary, and gets you from a to b. Maybe a used car is in your future, and while some may sneer, the used car market is something everyone should consider if they are smart.
The second you drive off the car lot with a brand new car, it loses value. You haven’t even opened her up yet and you have already lost money, all you are getting to enjoy for a while is that new car smell. With a used car, you have a better chance of no spending as much and getting just as much use out of it. Of course there are some things to consider, like the mileage of the car, the age of the car, and the car’s history.
The best way to decide is to do your homework, test drive a few, new and used, and get all the information you need before you buy. You don’t want another blowout on the way to meet your girlfriend’s parents again, that’s a whole other what if.
